FOR INSPIRATION:Inspiration is all around us!
INSPIRATION TO BECOME A STYLIST : I always enjoyed doing my friends hair when I was young, and then one day I met a very cool stylist in Atlanta. She was hip and successful, I wanted that.
WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT MY WORK: I enjoy working with people, and it makes me feel good to help others look thier best.
MY PREFERENCE, CUT OR COLOR: I enjoy both, the changes you can achieve with both really make it fun.
MY SPECIALTY: I really enjoy Balyage(hair painting), you get such a natural look and can mix other colors in pretty easily.
MY NEXT STEP: I would like to become more familiar with hair extensions, possible even custom hair pieces and wigs.
MY PERSONAL STYLE: A little edgy, with a bohemain flair.
FAVORITE EATS: Steel Mags, Birdies, and the bleu pub.
MY HERO: I think Vidal Sasson changed the way the world saw hair and hairdressers. He is right there at the top!

Her Story
Alison started at Sublime while still in high school, working as an assistant, then as an apprentice under SueAnn. Inspiring confidence in her work, as every natural does, she is calm and unassuming as she works with clients. Alison has devoted thousands of hours, blood, sweat, and tears on her journey to become who she is today, an extremely talented hair stylist. As an educator, Alison is passing on her knowledge and skills to her team mates. She enjoys keeping up with industry changes and trends, learning new techniques, and applying these in the salon. Because of her dedication to our mission, in 2014, Alison became a full partner at Sublime. Now as a partner Alison uses her skills, knowledge and experience to uphold our standards, support our culture and help shape the future of Sublime. In 2016 Alison fulfilled one of her dreams, to become a mother. Although working a limited schedule, she still brings every bit of passion and talent to every client at every appointment.
